Fashion Week s/s 10 favourites: London

I secretly loved all of the collection from London i think they were fantastic and well put together. But of course, few of them stand out to me.

1. Burberry Prorsum
THE highlight of the week. I was lucky enough to watch this online and felt completely in love with it the moment i saw the first outfit. Chris Bailey certainly did a good job. With a palette of beige/nudes and pastels, Burberry remains true to its roots, as a classic world-known British brand.

2.Luella
She never stops to amaze me with her girly, vintage with a modern twist clothes. And i simply loved this collection and i suppose you can guess why.:)

Fashion Week s/s 10 favourites: NY

To be completely honest i was left being very disappointed with the majority of the collections. Except for a few, the collections were nowhere near inspiring to me.
But with the bad goes the good so here are my favourite collection from NYC.

1. Marc by Marc Jacobs
I love this collection. Seriously. The colours, the patterns, the accessories, even the shoes were perfect in this collection. Some may disagree and say Topshop will be very happy about this collection but i would have to say that it's the one and only collection i would actually wear every single outfit from. Thus the bigger collage.:P

2. Dona Karan

She never fails to amaze me. Whatever she designs has a class to it which i actually adore in comparison to other American designers. I especially liked the pastel colours and sometimes bold ones. Full stop.

3. Proenza Schouler
They are said to design sporty and athletic clothes, but for the past two seasons Proenza Schouler are in my top 10 designers:) The rest is obvious:)

I will do another post regarding fashion week next week after London is finished. I hope they'll be better collections(as the hint from the first few of them is actually breath-taking)than NY.

See you,

Fashion Week s/s '09 prt2

Ok so this is the last post about fashion week. I am sorry it took me 3 or 4 days to just sit and post something but i'm currently ill and so busy that i can't even switch on the computer(well so to speak).

Moschino

I literally loved the whole collection, there was no outfit i'd leave out. I loved the fabric, and the colours they were really romantic. Sweetness, you could almost taste it. I especially loved the hair, it's so 60's !

Louis Vuitton

Sexiness, Romanticism, boho! Ive always thought Marc Jacobs is a great designer and there was no time where i didn't like his designs, but this show..wow it exceeded my expectations. Absolutely love it!

I want these LV shoes!!!

Chloe

chic and feminine. Love it, especially the neutral colours and this babydoll vide.

Charles Anastase

Not many people may know him, but charles anastase is definetely someones favourite especially when what they're looking for is something girly. And that's what he's always designed. Fresh, girly clothes!:)

Marc Jacobs

Ok i have talked about him above but, aren't THESE clothes to die for? I think it's so ladylike, and sophisticated, and that Mary Poppins hat, oh how i love that. Everything in this collection is like a fairytale.

No i may go and have some tea. My cough is killing me...

Fashion Week pt1

Ok so now that Paris fashion Week is over i thought i'd be nice to make a post about my favourite designers and their collections and such...well couldn't possibly talk about my favourite collections cause i simply loved every single one of them.
I this post i am going to talk about my 3 all time favourite brands. Those are Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren. They do have something in common; elegance.

CHANEL

I think Karl Lagerfield did a pretty good job this time as well, this parisian and elegant vibe, those silky/slick fabrics with the fainted colours. Absolutely vital. Love it.

Yves Saint Laurent

Romance.Love.Passion.Feminine.Sophisticated. i think this describes everything i could possibly say about YSL. I lovelovelove it. I want them all.( I guess that it because that's how i typically dress but, still what a beautiful collection)

Ralph Lauren

When i first saw the clothes i immediately thought " that's what boho chic's all about." I love this bohemian vide with baggy trousers, neutral colours mixing with cold, and generally, seeing something really elegant that can relaxes your eye. Because that's what it does...seriously :)

...i know i said i'm going to focus on my three favourite brands but i just can't resist not to tell you about Giambattista Valli.

Giambattista Valli

I didn't really know anything about him until Paris Fashion week ss 09.
His collection is FANTASTIC. I cannot actually tell you. So feminine, elegant, consisted of mainly beige and black dresses, so chic! I absolutely love it. It's now one of my favourites. I love this 50's style/vibe most of his dresses have.Brilliantly done.

Well, just cause i'm being a lazy rats arse i am not going to talk about anything else. Instead, i am going to post a few more parts about FW. So excited.lol

Hope you're all going really well.
